Words, that is! I am so excited to have put together 10055 words into one story! It's exhilarating to sit at the computer, typing out the words as they fly into my mind and out through my fingertips. The clacking of the keys as I type increases and suddenly I have another paragraph, and another, and another. I can see the characters in my mind, the room they are in, and somehow know the words they will say. I feel the wind blowing. I am in the story.

My NaNoWriMo quest is difficult, but for each word I write I am triumphant! The month is half over, and I have done 20% of the goal. That is 20% more than I had dreamed of, really. While I have had more distractions, and done plenty of procrastination...... well I am still engaged in the process. 40,000 words in the next 14 days? Well, that will truly be like climbing Mt. Everest. Over 2800 words a day. I may only get 500 a day. But I'm not giving up.
