9th Grade Boyfriend

It's Friday afternoon, its raining outside, I'm bored and floating around on the internet. I decide to check my Classmates account, on the off chance the one person I'm looking for (Kim Neale, a bridesmaid in my wedding back in '85) has checked in. But instead, I find two messages from the guy who was my "boyfriend" in junior high -whatever being a boyfriend was back then. His general message was hey, how are you, what have you been up to? At first, I was excited - after all, I too had wondered - often - what HE had been up to. But what could opening up this communication do? Certainly I had no intention to go further than email chit-chat. So, I took the chance and sent an email to my former beau, very generic and matter of fact. Would he respond? Of course I've been checking now for a week, and still no reply. Even though I really don't care that much, I'm darn curious. Maybe I read too much into it. I'll just have to wait and see......
